Ever since first experimenting with rotoscope animation I have fallen in love with the many stylisitc directions this art form can take. My first crack at this came during an Experimental Techniques Digital Filmmaking class where I animated over this video of me getting a strike while bowling backwards. The original version of this project was animated in 3 fps and switched illustration style every frame. The updated version of this project was animated in 12 fps to give it a smoother feel and to increase my skill in animating in a faster and more widely applicable framerate. The different versions as well as the original video are labeled below. Please enjoy.
