

Savor New Mexico is a non-profit organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico that is focused on promoting local culinary traditions, cultural awareness, and community through food events. They are organizing a series of three unique food-focused events across the state in 2026 – Sante Fe Chili Cook-Off, Taos Farm-to-Table Feast, and Brew and Bake Festival. The goal of this project was to create a brand identity for Savor New Mexico as well as expand and vary that identity to suit each of the events in order to create a broad and cohesive brand that reflects the diverse culinary traditions of New Mexico. The logo for Savor New Mexico was designed with both feeling and culture in mind. The flame icon is meant to evoke warm feelings assocaited with great food as well as spices that are a staple in the region. Hints of the signature circle with stretching lines found on both the flag for the state of New Mexico and the city of Albuquerque have been included to reference the location of this non-profit.

The main colors for Savor New Mexico were chosen to invoke that warm feeling great food can bring and to synergize with each other for many combinations and uses.
